What Will Evil Glenn Be Doing Thanksgiving?

THe same as he does everyday. Bashing Hobos, Blending Puppies, Declaring himself spawn of Satan the Church Lady, eating tofu turkey, trying to find a woman who won't smack his face when he opens his mouth, etc. etc. etc.

Silver Blue came home and brought me some of the most delictable carrot casserole. He really, really cares for me. I'm touched to the bottom of my small, blue heart. He didn't forget the boys either, so all the bears are now eating Honey Waffles and Earl Grey Tea. He's been doing too much by himself around here (only almost slipped and killed himself three times). But, I guess when things get to you, you get to them.

Updates and Such

I've been a Busy Bunny!

Let's see. We've managed to get all the clothing racks mounted in PoloRandy's room, and most of his clothes are up and put away. (Yay!)

The new dryer Silver Blue bought really works well (I could have done WITHOUT the remark of putting me in on the fluff cycle, however!) and we've been giving the linens and things a much needed cleaning (plus, it helps warm the house).

Tink has been complaining that I haven't been guest blogging for her. She's blogging herself, so why complain about me? I mean she only posted in the evenings before, and she's still doing that now on vacation, so... TAKE A CHILL PILL, SISTER!

Susie received her Roxette Bunny™ gear...and loves it (from a comment she posted). :-)

Charity Update:

No change: $4.01 earmarked for ASPCA when it arrives. Please, it was below freezing last night. Don't forget your animal friends. Donate food to your local Animal Shelter (or PetSmart or Friendly's Restaurant, who also collect for local shelters). We don't have the luxury of going into debt to remain warm and/or fed.

Sometimes, to laugh

According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December. Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring.

Therefore, according to every historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, every single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen- had to be a girl.

We should've known. Only women, while pregnant, would be able to drag a fat man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost.

The place is a shambles, but it's coming together.

Tink's doing pretty well. It's the first day of something she calls "registration" so I'm sure her day will be hectic.

Silver Blue's dad is due back from Ohio this evening from his brother's funeral. I'm hopping along to keep them company.

I hear that Silver Blue also bought me my own Christmas Tree. I haven't seen it yet, but when I do, I'll be sure to post a photograph.

Somehow, also, Silver Blue ended up being my 1,000 visitor. Sounds to me like he spends a lot of his time reading blogs.

Charity update:

No new sales this prior week, so ASPCA total remains at $4.01.

Trying to keep sane

while chaos reigns all around. (PoloRandy moved all his clothes in night before last and now no one can move in the house at all. Too many PoloPonies on the loose.)

I promised to vote in this week's blog showcase, so, sorry to say that none of them really caught my eye, but the best of the submissions was this. Understand that they were all good in their own right, just none of them were what I would choose, as a blue bunny, to read on a regular basis.

I suppose the rest of the bears are going to make their way over to the house tonight. First, I've been promised we're stopping by Diamond Lil's and Jewelman's shop. Will be nice to frolic amongst the carats again, see if there are any pretty ones that might suit me.

How is everyone doing? Thanks for the idea Susie...I'll have to dig out my bathing suit and see if I can make that calendar happen!

Updates, etc.

The house is getting overrun by Bears. I'm not kidding.

We have 7 additional PoloBears (authentic Ralph Lauren bears) coming over.

PoloRandy is moving in, but I guess you knew that already.

Tink's got issues. She's thinking of moving again. At least that's what she types, but she ain't saying much. When she left the house this morning, she was "squeaking" again. Poor thing. We're gonna put her on chicken soup and nothing else until she shakes this or grows feathers and flys away.

Silver Blue's beginning to worry me with the number of migraines he's been having. I think his blood pressure has gone unchecked and it may be well up there again, like it was the last time he got like this. :(

Why does Pain Exist?

I'm hopping around a bunch of broke-down people!

PoloRandy's back is giving him massive fits.

Silver Blue has a major migraine.

Tink is beginning to have heartache.

Revog is starting to ache from bathroom construction.

Punchbuggy ... well, I don't know yet.

Even Forester Bear was saying something about the weather giving him fits.

I guess the advantage to being so cute, true and sky blue is that I don't get ill often. That, itsself, is cause for celebration.

Top 10 reasons Silver Blue has a migraine:

10. Having to move PoloRandy in in less than 2 weeks.
9. Getting the house back in order from Isabel.
8. Weather Changes (It's 80 degrees, November 6!)
7. Insufficient sleep.
6. Not eating healthy, too much fast food.
5. Too many people, not enough brains to go around where he works.
4. Not enough exposure to MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
3. High Blood Pressure.
2. Not enough time in the day to get everything taken care of.
1. Being "hit on" by the construction worker.

Silver Blue had the roofing people over finally (or should I type that finally a company showed up!), and they tarped the roof. It was fun watching the guy go in and out of the window. LOL. He almost fell off the roof, which was scary. I had to cover my eyes. (I stopped, however, at covering my ears, which should be obvious)

Anyway, choir is this evening. I want to hear how the cantata is coming along.

Charity Update

I'm getting ready to hop to bed, but forgot to give everyone a charity update:

No chage this week; no one bought Roxette Bunny™ gear, so we still have $2.00 going to the ASPCA.

Please remember our less fortunately animal friends; if you cannot or choose not to purchase Roxette Bunny™ gear, please purchase some animal food and take it to your local animal shelter. The weather is turning colder and the need will be greater.

Back safely

In case anyone wondered, we made it up to Northern Virignia, shopped our little tails off, and then made it to Dawn's party, and back home. I was SOOOO sleepy by the time we left Dawn's that I think I snored the entire way back home. I remember stopping at WaWa in Fredericksburg, but that's all I remember until we pulled into the drive, and I hopped in to curl into a small, blue ball and sleep in my own bed here at the Shenandoah Forester.

Life is so good.
