It's cold out there! The snow has been nice, but I'm ready for it all to go away now. Brahn, HiTop, RP and I frollicked in the snow today, but after warming ourselves back up, we've decided it's time for summer.

The squirrels are back in the ceiling. I wish I had a gun, but I guess that would do more damage than the squirrels are by themselves. Hmm. Maybe some well placed poison.

I'm sure Silver Blue will get up and look at it in a bit.

As an aside, I think that I'm staying on as Official Mascot to the Alliance of Free Blogs, but I think Silver Blue is making noises of leaving. He says the "Homework" deal of having to come up with 2-3 items every week is just too much, especially with the uproar of his work.

I agree with him. Voting in the New Blog showcase is a good thing, it helps promote new talent, but come on. How many Filthy Lies can you come up with before it starts getting tiring?

In the beginning, it was fun. But now, we all have lives away from the keyboard and blogs.

What do you think? Should I give up being mascot? I've enjoyed it, but it doesn't seem to have raised any significant funds for the ASPCA (thanks, however, to Susie & Silver Blue for both purchasing BunnyWare™)

I've forgotten my manners! Brahn (short for Brahnz) is the new bear who rides around in Kosheen with Silver Blue (and me, when it's not to cold). HiTop is the grrrraff that PoloRandy adopted from Potomac Mills this past weekend. RP is the puppy who used to guard the dash of Silver Blue's old car.

Well, I'm hopping back downstairs, hoping to rap on the ceiling to keep the squirrels from coming through!

Sad Day

Bob Keeshan (Captain Kangaroo) has died at the age of 76.

He was longtime employer of one of my relatives, Bunny Rabbit.

A moment of silence, please.

Never Fear

Roxette Bunny™ is here! I'm ok, just trying to make heads or bunny tails out of some of the things I've found at the house.

Hopefully I'll be back to regular blogging soon. Thanks to those who emailed to make sure I was ok.

Ok, so my bunny brain got confused on dates, etc...

In any event, the interview is posted over at Jennifer's.

Now, GIT, and read! (And laugh!)

Jennifer, over at Jennifer's History and Stuff has told me that you have until next monday night to email your questions for my interview to her.

Please, please, please! Email questions! Tell everyone! I really want to make a good showing. :-) I love you all, and have enjoyed reading the interviews with everyone so far (though there's not enough meniton of loving blue bunnies....)

I look forward to myriad questions that will make my paws tired answering!

Yawn and such.

....just woke up from a long winter's nap. It's warm in here, but dang cold outside.

For those who are musically inclined, I thought you might like this:

I Caught a Rabbit (Kentucky folk song)

Rabbit run on the frozen ground! Who told you so?

Rabbit run on the frozen ground! How do you know?

I caught a rabbit, uh-huh! I caught a rabbit, uh-huh!

I caught a rabbit, uh-huh! I caught a rabbit, oh!

Oh, and the Alliance Assignment:

What was Evil Glenn doing at the Memphis Zoo at 2am?

He was caught in his Puppy costume and the zipper was stuck, so they threw him in the giant dog display. Imagine his dismay when a couple of the other male dogs got feeling amourous? Bet he wished his costume was (1) not so form fitting and (2) not a female costume. His voice should lower itsself back down naturally over the course of the next couple of weeks.

Welcome back to work, everyone. I stayed home, basking in the warmth and trying to decide what to do with all the Waterford that PoloRandy bought. I mean, please! We now have 12 place settings of all the pieces. Woo-Hoo!

It's been a while since I've done an update, so... here goes.

No one has purchased any Roxette Bunny™ gear, so I hope that you're remembering to make your donations to your local animal shelters or ASPCA. Remember: your animal friends can't get jobs or go on welfare to get food and shelter.

Silver Blue's posts have been funny, but lacking something since he's been on vacation. One thing he's started (and I hear it was at the request of a friend) is that he's adding sound bites to the songs he listens to. Better than nothing, I guess.

Tink's been moody, but I think it's the holidays that had her down.

PoloRandy.... poor guy. To lose someone as close to you as his aunt was was devistating. Keep him in your prayers, ok guys?

Other than that, not much going on round the ol' Shenandoah Forester. Silver Blue bought me a couch, which I've got to get a photo of up online.

HOPPY New Year, everyone!
